Tiqets in Turin: review, the Card and museum tickets
Tiqets is the platform we use for plain museum tickets in Turin and for the Torino+Piemonte Card, which none of our other partners sells. This page explains what is worth buying on Tiqets, when GetYourGuide is the better choice, and what to check about cancellation, which changes from ticket to ticket.

What Tiqets is and what it is good for in Turin
Tiqets is a ticketing platform headquartered in Amsterdam, focused on attractions and museums rather than tours: it buys allocations of admissions from museums or their concessionaires and resells them as instant mobile tickets. In Turin we use it for one thing no other partner of ours offers, the Torino+Piemonte Card from €29*, and for timed entries where the benefit is walking past the ticket desk: the Cinema Museum at the Mole, Palazzo Madama skip-the-line from €14*, the Royal Palace guided from €49*, Egyptian Museum skip-the-line with guide from €49* (4.8★ from 229 reviews), Venaria Reale with guide from €79*, Underground Turin from €39*, hop-on hop-off from €28* and the Caselle airport bus from €5*.
Timed tickets, cancellation and languages
The mechanics are simple: pick a date and time slot, pay, and the QR ticket reaches your email and the app within seconds. At the Egyptian Museum and the Royal Museums the slot is binding, with a tolerance of usually a few minutes; at the Mole it is worth booking the panoramic lift separately, because the museum ticket does not always include it. Interface and support work in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish and other languages, handy when you are booking for visiting friends.
The weak point is cancellation: there is no single rule. Many plain admissions are non-refundable once the time is chosen, guided visits and the Card generally allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before, the airport bus is flexible on the date. The wording sits under the buy button on each listing: read it before paying and, where a "flexible" version exists, weigh the extra €2–3*.
Tiqets vs GetYourGuide: prices and when to pick which
For plain tickets Tiqets is usually in line with the official ticket office, sometimes with a €1–3* service fee; for the Card the price normally matches the official channel. For guided visits the comparison to make is with GetYourGuide, which in Turin has more operators and many more reviews for the same museum. Our rule: timed entry only and the Card on Tiqets; small-group guides, evening tours, Langhe and transfers on GetYourGuide; Headout as a third check for Egyptian Museum + Royal Palace combos. Anyone who prefers booking direct finds the official channels on our operators page.
How our Tiqets links work
tours.torino.it is not the official ticket office of any museum and not a Tiqets site. Buy buttons lead directly to tiqets.com with our partner parameter, sponsored and nofollow attributes and the campaign tourstorino: if you buy, Tiqets pays us a commission, while the price you pay is identical to tiqets.com. Prices shown are observed on the partner catalogue and checked regularly; the amount at checkout prevails. For refunds or missing tickets contact Tiqets support from the app; for content corrections, info@tours.torino.it.

FAQ
Is Tiqets legit for Turin museums?
Yes. Tiqets is a Dutch company based in Amsterdam that resells attraction tickets under direct agreements with museums or their ticketing concessionaires; in Turin it covers the Egyptian Museum, Royal Museums, Palazzo Madama, the Mole and Venaria. The ticket lands on your phone immediately with a QR code and is scanned at the turnstile like one bought at the desk. It is not the official ticket office: if a museum closes for a strike or an event, the refund goes through Tiqets, which in our experience handles it within days.
Can I cancel a Tiqets ticket?
It depends on the individual product and must be read before paying. Many timed entries to Turin museums are non-refundable once a slot is chosen; guided visits and the Torino+Piemonte Card usually allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before; the airport bus and hop-on hop-off are often flexible on the date. The exact wording sits under the buy button on every listing. If in doubt, choose the "flexible" version where one exists, even if it costs €2–3* more.
Are Tiqets prices higher than the official site?
For plain tickets they are often identical to the ticket office, sometimes €1–3* higher for the booking service; for Palazzo Madama and the Mole the gap is minimal or zero. The Torino+Piemonte Card is normally at the same price as the official channel. Guided visits with ticket included have no direct official equivalent, so compare them with GetYourGuide for the same museum. The price that counts is the one at checkout, which we check regularly against the partner catalogue.
How do I receive the tickets, and do I need to print them?
Right after payment they arrive by email and in the Tiqets app, with QR code and time slot. Every Turin museum we follow accepts them on a phone; for the Card the confirmation states whether you get a digital card or a voucher to exchange at a pick-up point in the centre: check it and allow for that step before your first visit. The interface and support are available in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish and other languages.
Tiqets or GetYourGuide for the same museum?
For timed entry only, Tiqets: it is its specialty, the ticket is instant and often at the museum's own price. For a small-group guided visit, GetYourGuide has more operators and far more reviews (at the Egyptian Museum 4.8★ from 1,553 versus 4.8★ from 229). For the Torino+Piemonte Card there is no choice: on our site it is Tiqets only. When the same product appears on both, compare inclusions, cancellation and meeting point, not just the price.
